So far to know about Black Ops:

The setting is Vietnam, Cuba, the Arctic, Laos and Russia have been confirmed as locations in the game.

Missions (So Far):

* "WMD" - "WMD" is set in 1968 in the Ural mountain range. "WMD" features the SR-71 Blackbird and a new weapon, the Crossbow.

* "Payback" - In "Payback", the player is able to pilot a helicopter.

* "Victor Charlie" - "Victor Charlie" begins in a crashed helicopter, where the player must swim up the Huong River with only a knife.

* "Slaughter House" - The action-packed mission "Slaughter House" takes place in Hu, Vietnam, in 1968.



* Mason - Playable character, member of SOG.
* Reznov - Returns from Call of Duty: World at War, member of SOG.
* Thomas - Playable character, pilot of the SR-71 Blackbird in WMD.
* Weaver - Character in WMD.
* Swift - Character in Victor Charlie.
* Brooks - Character in WMD.
* Harris - Character in WMD.
* Kravtchenko - Antagonist. Conducted a black operation in Laos.

3 Kill Streak - RC Bomb

it is an RC car rigged with an explosive charge, unlocked after a 3-Killstreak. When deployed, the player remains stationary and the HUD disappears while piloting the RC-XD, much like how the player remains stationary while guiding a Predator Missile in Modern Warfare 2. 4 Kill Streak - Care Package [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

A package which is thrown out of a helicopter, With either a Killstreak or maybe a resupply (Not sure what could come out the care package yet)

5 Kill streak - Arch Angel

The Arch Angel is a 5-killstreak reward, similar to the Predator Missile in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which is in the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops. It is a ground launched missile that the player launches and that the player can steer toward their desired target. In the trailer for the multiplayer mode on Call of Duty: Black Ops, an Arch Angel is seen twice, one flying past a player's RC Bomb and another at the end where it kills the player after the player snipes an enemy [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Killstreak - Napalm Strike

The Napalm Strike appears to be an Airstrike-based killstreak reward available in Call of Duty: Black Ops.

It is shown in the multiplayer reveal trailer, leaving a trail of fire on the ground. It is currently unknown how many kills are needed for this killstreak.

So far, there have been three confirmed retail editions:

* The normal edition, with just the game, box and manual.
* The Hardened Edition will come with the game, a Black Ops Medal, a Woods avatar for Xbox Live/PSN, and four exclusive co-op maps, which have been revealed to be the 4 zombie maps from World at War. This will cost $80.
* The Prestige Edition - which will come with a usable RC Bomb with a video camera and microphone attached, which will transmit footage to the controller, along with the contents of the Hardened edition. This will cost 129.99/$149.99



Vehicles will return, but they will be very different than those in Call of Duty: World at War.

Matchmaking is being changed so that it is easier for friends to play together.

ome campaign levels will be based off multiplayer maps instead of the typical vice-versa. This change is because some multiplayer maps had been made before the campaign was finalized.

Create-A-Class 2.0 will allow players to customize their appearance in addition to their loadout

Customized killstreaks will return, but the game-ending Tactical Nuke will not. Kills earned from killstreak rewards will not count towards increasing a player's killstreak.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 perks Commando and One Man Army are not going to return.

The PC version of Call of Duty: Black Ops will feature dedicated servers.

Shotguns and Machine Pistols as secondary weapons are not expected to return, as Treyarch stated in an interview that they give the player "too much firepower".

Weapon Camouflages: Woodland, Arctic and Desert.

New Maps: Launch and Summit

The crossbow is in Multiplayer. Unlike in Singeplayer, it does not have a scope by default, and it seems explosive tipped bolts are an attachment as the name of the crossbow seen in the multiplayer teaser is "Crossbow Explosive Tip". It also appears to be a secondary weapon

There appears to be some type of 'UAV Ball', like in Battlefield: Bad Company, which show red dots on the radar in a small radius. This can be seen at around 1:05 in the Multiplayer teaser.

Treyarch has confirmed that it will be close to impossible to use any kind of mods in Call of Duty: Black Ops.

It seems that the player will have the ability to perform a diving roll. This can be seen at around 0:41 in the multiplayer teaser.

The smiley face on the Red Dot Sight and engraving on the Commando (weapon) are most likely features of Create-a-Class 2.0

Yes! Black Ops does have some sort of thearter mode. We believe that you can upload it straight to YouTube, But it could just be a rumour.

Yes, Whats new on Black Ops is alot of things.

Such as:

Clan Tags engraved on the back of the gun

Smiley Face for the red dot sight

And a Smiley sticker on the side of some guns
