Looks like a old night vision scope they used in Vietnam and its Not a m203 GL because the tube is shut. It could be a flash lite

Looks like the background is camouflaged, and the top right of the background has either mesh, or grass on it(probably a bunker). As for the main part of the picture, it looks nothing like any gun I have seen before, the barrel part anyways, but I wouldn't jump to the conclusion its a gun, although that does look like a scope on top of it.
