So I just put together all my parts which are the following:
Gpu:GTX 550 ti
CPU:amd phenom ii x9 1035t
4gb ram
460 psu
When I hit the power button nothing turned on not even the fans or led. Did I fry something or did I just mess up and put something in the wrong place? Please help

What PSU? I don't know any 460w PSU's that are of quality and that poses a major concern.

But go over it a few times, do you have the 24pin cable securely attached? Same goes for the 4/8 pin MOBO and SATA cables. Is there any way you could of shorted the board or installed the CPU wrong?

Another thing you could do is try taking 1 stick of RAM and see if it boots up with 1, and while you're at it, try different slots.

I could also see that not installing the front panel connectors correctly will result in it not booting when you press the physical power button.

Triple check everything.

I could take a picture and show you because I think I set it all up correctly

That would help.

But I can't give you an answer if you installed the front panel connectors right or not since every MOBO is different and they are really small.

that seems pretty powerful and a 460 psu may not cut it so it may have fried something. I'm not sure if that would get fried but my friend had a 450 pus with that same graphics card and his card got fried. Also you may just have gotten a bad part. like generation said just triple check everything Im sure you'll figure it out.

Again, provide us with a picture and the links to the parts, specifically the PSU. I did some research and the only quality PSU I found was a 460w fanless Seasonic and it was pricey, and I doubt you invested money into a PSU that is quality.

I'm pretty sure its the motherboard screw things you need to make sure you have mounted on to the motherboard [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] the yellow screw NEEDS TO BE IN(screwed into the case) so the motherboard is not sitting on the case(the motherboard should sit on top of those screws), also so the motherboard doesn't get short circuited. That is a common problem when people don`t put in these screws NOTHING will turn on.
