i think both are great. depends if you doing a solo or playing with more people. personally i would prefer the raygun for speed and amount of ammo

i find the wunderwafle better for higher levs when the zombies bunch up.... but other then that rayrun.

I like the the dg2, esp. since I have played numerous games everyday since release and yet to see the ray gun, even flashing by. I also haven't seen the mystery box upstairs in the main hut either.

Get both simple solution lol. In seriousness I prefer the ray gun.(except when I ray gun myself) The waffle is cool if you are going for rounds and all to one shot the zombies in a huge pack (comm strat). So ray gun> Waffle till later rounds Imo

The DG-2 killes 10 zombies at a time and no more (if you dont belive me, look at your kill count,line em up,take em down,look at your kill count again.) And is 1 shot kill (the ray gun takes 2-3 well placed shots starting roughly around round 30) And the DG-2 can get you out of hairy situations with the multi kill ability, the ray gun can not, at least in the later rounds.

I prefer the Ray Gun.
1. More ammo
2. Higher rate of fire
3. With the explosive rounds you can kill or disable several at one time.
4. Run faster
5. Faster reload
6. When fired the DG-2 can cause some confussion when it hits its target and creates the disruption. In a crowded space in the higher rounds it can be distracting

Just my opinion.

i think wundder waffles good it kills a lot of zombies with one bullet but takes forever to relod and only has three bullets per clip and raY GUN HAS 20 PER CLIP.but it doesnt kill you like the ray gun does so they both have strengths so if u have to chose between them id say choose the waffle because it saves my butt a lot in zombies.

raygun is better

it has more bullets and if you shoot like 15 zombies with the dg-42 it gives you like 300 points, so its pointless
