I just got my first android which is a Samsung Replenish, and the battery barely last one day. I text a lot but don't play games or anything.

I was just wondering if this was typical for androids or not?

its typical for almost all smart phones. i suggest getting an app called easy battery saver and set it to intelligent mode. it's really helpful. i have to charge my phone every night. if i dont then it gets to low battery by the end of school (around 2:30) hope this helps

Any current day smartphone will have this problem. To help fix, either download JuiceDefender, root & rom, or buy an extended battery.
