Childish_Gambino wrote Disrespect, I agree should stop.
But this is just stupid, you don't gift people who don't help.
There are 1 year members that are active and have great releases that have yet to be gifted.
Gold gifter is a horrible badge.
You have to think of it this way:
Why gift someone you don't know, that hasn't personally affected your experience here as a member?
Maybe these new members have made an impression on them and they initially feel like they deserve it?
I don't judge people who have the badge and who they gift because it's who they think deserves it really.
Because there's Moderators with less than 10 posts, and they help out all of the time as well and contribute a lot.
Just because the member isn't posting and doesn't have 1,000+ doesn't mean they don't report a lot of topics and
help clean this site up, and do things via Private Messages for other people. Post count is a pointless number here.
I respect your opinion however, but I disagree.

Agree x20.
If someone has money and wants to spend it, let them spend it on what they want to spend it on. Right and wrong, in this case, is not pre-defined, gifting a new member should not be shunned, but embraced, it means that there are some good souls out there willing to give someone a gift, whether they know them or not. It's basically giving away money to people who need it more than you. If people can't respect that, then society is going down the drain faster than I thought.
Think about it. A random person joins TTG, and they get gifted straight away. Chances are, they're going to think the website, as well as the community, is amazing, and is going to tell all of their friends to join, thus increasing member count, and thus increasing the possibility of more people buying gold, thus increasing Sean's wallet, thus taking TTG farther than it has ever been. The way the community is now, I don't see that happening.
tl;dr, I agree.

Everyone agrees then says.. "but some don't deserve it". You just contradicted yourself. I have money... I'm sure you do to. Saying that who am i to tell you who to gift gold or not. Maybes its luck of the draw maybe its not who cares.

I Love this post. People should be nice to one or another. "Treat People how you want to be treated"
OT: I completely agree with you
