I have an Ipad 1st generation and its running 3.2.2 at the moment. With so many different mods to add on it for jail breaking what would be the best upto date way to jailbreak it and with what plz?

3.2.2.. Hmm..
Try jailbreakme. com on the safari of the iPad.
If that doesn't work look up a tut on how to use redsn0w..

Update it to 5.0.1 then jb on that. Way better stuff

You should definitely go for untethered, this is why ...
Tethered Jailbreak
This means that you need to connect your device to a computer every time you switch off so that you can use Cydia and it's associated tweaks and packages etc ...
Untethered Jailbreak
This is the complete opposite of tethered and means you can boot your device up without a computer and are able to use Cydia whenever you want on the go. The only down-side to this is that it takes developers longer to make the jailbreak untethered, which means you have to wait and wait ...

Thx for the advice
I seem to be having trouble with changing firmware. I have downloaded 4.3.3 but when i try to update it or restore it onto the ipad i keep getting this error " could not be restored/updated an unknown error occurred [3194]
The second firmware i downloaded was 5.0 and when i try to restore/update that to the ipad i get an error message saying its not compatible
Any idea anyone?
