hahahahahahah i can help because i was in the same boat... first dont touch the usb while it says that it can get a partial read and make ur jtag not turn on... second go buy another usb that is not a sancruzer they will not read correctly when trying to boot into xell also dont get a pny they do similar things and that should work perfectly it did for me anyways

dude it happened to me and i **** up my jtag where it wouldnt turn on 3 different times and had to pay to get it reflashed 3 times and i figured out it was the usb after that so i had to trade usb's with my friend who had a non jtag so he was happy and after that it worked fine
