Quitting is something i have failed at doing on many an occasion.
1. Nicotine patches, i would not recommend, its not the same as smoking, yes you get the nicotine but you don't get the sensation.
2. Chewing gum, it tastes like crap for a start and it doesn't really give you the nicotine hit.
3. Nicotine sprays, Quite effective, but yet again the sensation of smoking isn't there.
4. Nicorette inhalers, the most horrible thing you can toke, the taste is bad, and its too strong, so if you take big pulls of a cigarette usually it will take time to adjust.
5. Fake cigarettes, best option in my opinion, it gives you the feel that you are smoking, the end lights up, and the water vapour mixed with the nicotine you breathe in is like you are smoking but without the effects of the carbon monoxide and other bad chemicals.
A quick sum up, i suggest getting the fake cigarettes, they have worked for me in the past however because everyone around me is a smoker, it is usually not long untill i'm back on them.
If you have the time to quit (I didn't) and the will power you will get through it just fine, hope this has helped you.

You have obviously never been addicted to smoking.

Its a state of mind dude.
You have to want to do it to actually accomplish it.
Its no good trying if you don't want to do it because then you won't quit.
