Hmmmm, I just watched "The Social Network"

This movie sparked a relatively large flame in my brain. Does the video game industry prey on independant, easily motivated people like ourselves?
I can watch a the trailer for the new "COD" game or the new "Halo" game but you know damn well, my motives are "I'm gonna get this game!"
-But is it really worth 60 bucks? I heard a rumor that Activison "squatted" in an abandoned 3 story building, therefore production costs utilities (gas, electricity, water) FREE!
-Using the same engine, just improving it, estimated costs 40,000 USD.
Where I'm getting to is are the companys saying F*** you we want your moneyz, and giving us half done shi*
