look i love anime but i have to say........i think narutos overated i mean like, its okay but its deffinitly not the be-all-end-all best anime ever like so meny people say it is

they basicly have like a script for 1 fight and reuse it for every battle

evil ninja uses block everything attack
good ninjas use there attack but it fails
evil ninja explains some deep emotional backstory that plays out the same deppresing way
good ninjas use " undo block everything jutso"
good ninjas do a fak out attack but it fails
good ninjas kill evil ninjas end of episode...................did i mention these tend to be 5 episode fights i mean COME ON!

I wouldn't say it's the best but it is pretty good. I like the story line but the fillers are killers. lol They really are.

Well well so now we get a naruto thread well it's a pretty solid based anime it does leave you thinking some times but over all it's a pretty good anime,

I think the shippuden series is way better then the first but there both pretty good anyways the fillers are like really bad tho you might just want to skip though them.

In the anime world, maybe. In general, no, nowhere near overrated. It's not even noticed in the outside world.

Every anime is like that. I haven't really liked/watched anime in a few years, but they are all the same. I remember some events in Naruto taking a few episodes to get through with. It's pretty annoying.
