i downloaded minecraft but im not premium if that matters at all. but i downloaded and im in 1.7.3 beta and when i go to options and hit force update and hit done nothing happens and im SO confused

Download the patch files for MC, and replace you Minecraft.jar

You need to download the Minecraft 1.2.5 jar files.

Once you download them, place them in your .minecraft folder and force update. If this still doesn't work, just buy the game!
