What software have you got?
thanks mate, adobe dreamweaver at the moment, but my dad is a independent software developer and is working on a one of a kind piece of kit which will develop some ideas and take them to the next level. i have 4000 in a savings account ready for paying domain/running costs, all i need is a money making/popular site which will generate some hits!
Try blogger, then a .com domain. You also might need adobe flash ( you can get it for free on a cracked version ) also try advertising and google adsence

Hey I really like your idea. I would say go ahead and start working on it. I have a few websites and I started around your age as well. The first thing I did to get more traffic was very important. You have to submit it to google and other search engines such as bing or yahoo. However I never did monetize my websites as they were just gaming websites or blogs with a shit-load of code and whatnot. But I think adding ads in the future is a great idea.It is a great idea and you should go for it.

So idea 1 is a holiday site?
I assure you it wouldn't be a one man job, and you will need to know how to use Notepad++
I am sure you are all open to ideas but depending on what type of site you want i can't forward any suggestions.
