Nice build. Could do with more RAM and maybe a nvidia card, not to mention a bigger SSD.
But overall I would say it is a reasonable PC.
And 200GBP for a GPU? Sounds like a Broken budget build to me...

There is nothing wrong with the AMD card.. the 6950 is a lot better in terms of price per performance when compared to a Nvidia alternative. There is also no need for a RAM upgrade.. for most people 8gigs of ram is more than enough. Even when playing games such as BF3. Seems like a reasonable budget build.

Unless you are a hardcore video editor, with 67 different c4d rendering you don't need more than 8. (Exaggeration). The 6950 is GREAT, compared to Nvidia Price alternatives. And SSD's nowadays are used just to hold OS(20GB), And some Files. No need for more space due to high SSD Prices, as he is on a budget.

They are slow, but considering he has a SSD as a boot drive and probably stores a few games and programs, the WD Green more than likely holds documents, music, and pictures.
