Ok This is about Blops 2 and CoD Elite. If Treyarch does what mw3 did, only come out with 3 maps every 3 months and charge 20$ for it AND people who don't pay for elite get it 2 months later, I will most likely not get the game. CoD Elite was a failure beyond. It took them over 2 months after mw3 came out even though they had a beta for it to work. Then after that you pay 60 dollars for map packs that really should cost 10$ each. If you guys agree/disagree with me. Post below and say why. i really hope this doesn't happen. Treyarch is way better than IW....

I feel you, Elite was a huge fail, of epic proportion. Sadly they're incorporating it in Blops 2. I really hope Elite won't be like a necessary to play because that's what i feel what they are going to do in the future. Treyarch and Infinity Ward just needs to get rid of Elite

Yeah, Elite was a massive flop - it's not Treyarch or Infinity Ward's decisions though, Activision tells them what to do, and as long as Activision are making money from the service, they're not going to be getting rid of it.

Exactly. I did hear Treyarch say they were going to use Elite into their game. But I hope it's just for clans and other stuff like that. But if they do the map packs just like IW did in MW3, I will be greatly upset.

That isn't true. Activison only produces the game, therefore getting a massive percentage of the profits of the game (including dlcs)

I have to admit that Elite fail for the first two months. But you guys are taking Elite seriously. Think that Elite is some extra for buying all map pack in advance. All four map packs together cost $60 and the Elite subscription cost $50 with all DLC for free plus you get them early. Every month you get something new. That's the major point of the Elite subscription, the Elite database (elite.callofduty.com) is not the major point is just something extra. Because you think that MW3 sucks and the map pack doesn't worth $15 each, is not Activision, IW or Treyarch fault and it should cost less. I personally think 4 Maps and 2 Special Ops Missions worth $15 in each pack and I personally think that Elite is now a success.
