Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks broke a bone in his right foot during the New York Giants organized team activity session on Thursday, and he became yet another example of the perils of the NFLs voluntary (but-you-better-be there) offseason practices.

How do you think this will affect the giants in the up coming season. Leave your thoughts below.

I don't think it'd effect the Giants that much because the Giants played a majority of their season with Nicks and Manningham as their top receivers. Now, Nicks is injured and Manningham left. But Cruz can play like Nicks and the Giants new rookie receiver can play like Manningham.

Manningham isn't a huge receiver. You could compare him with any third string receiver so I'm sure that a new rookie receiver could possibly take his roll on the Giants.

Once Nicks recovers, you now have the big three WRs back on the team if the rookie receiver turns out to be good which people say he will.

I'm not sure you can compare him with any third string receiver. Manningham is a very good receiver, made many of the key plays that the Giant's offense needed last year. Overall, he was one of the more key players on the team if you look at all the plays he made, especially when it counted.
