So basically I jailbroke my iDevice last night and when installing an app from Cydia it told me to reboot my iPod and ever since I've done that my iPod has been stuck on the Apple icon. It is unavailable to boot properly. Then I decided to restore my iPod via iTunes and it just keeps getting stuck saying 'Verifying iPod restore with Apple'. Is there any suggestions for this? I was thinking maybe Apple's Servers are over loaded at the moment that's why it keeps getting stuck. Here is an image of what it does:

So if anyone knows how to fix this issue please tell me and I'll Rep you

Note: iPod was on firmware iOS 5.1.1

I am familiar with TinyUmbrella and that option is not highlighted within the program. The only option which is highlighted is 'Fix Recovery'. So I'm going to choose that option to see what it does but thanks for the try anyway mate

I know, I tried to install 'Spite' for my iPod touch then after a reboot it just stayed on the Apple Icon. I'm not gonna be installing that app again from Cydia :')

I've by passed the 'Verifying iPod restore with Apple' and the process after that is fine until you get to the end and it says something about 'error1'. I have researched this error and it says to prevent it from happening you must put your iDevice into DFU mode which I have done. Have you got any suggestions about this?
