you need to unformat it from the xbox format it with your computer to fat 32

If you are talking about configuring it for use with the retail, unmodified xbox, just plug it into a computer and format it. You don't have to do that to use a flash drive with a jtag

Can anyone talk to me about it on XB just got jtag like a week ago and I've been hosting 24/7 but now I'm soo lost if anyone can help I'll be soo greatfull

I cannot get on right now, but this is really simple. Take the thumb drive, plug it into your computer, go to my computer, right click your drive and select format. Change the file system/make sure it says fat 32, hit start and voila. Now just copy over your copy of xex menu to it and you can host again.

Thank you for being pateint and understanding but I did do all that but I wasn't one who set I up I bought it off someone and now he won't tell me anything soo i draged an xex menu on there and pluged it in but if I plug it in top it says E 17 but If I plug in bottom it says creat acc and I click on it and it says you need a thumb drive

Ok do you have a hard drive or are you using the flash drive as your hard drive? Because that might be the problem, if you don't have a hard drive you'll need 2 flash drives, one for your account and one for xexmenu. And as for E17, I looked it up and said it was a result of a bridged solder joint under the usb port so just check on that, unbridge it and you should be good to go.
