There is a mute button.
You can always turn off your mic.

I don't really see any problem with the kids. I find most of them to be pretty cool, with the other 1% being whinny or just flat out annoying. Back when I played Borderlands a lot, a whole bunch of kids helped me obtain items.

#I just realized what was just said above made kids sound like they aren't humans. :|

Shame on you. It is people like you who need to be dealt with. If are one of the immature morons who goes around threatening to hack or yet alone "ban" him, then there is something wrong with you. If you want to see something out of the younger players, then doing that is not the answer.

to you good sir.

Yes! OMG Finally.

I always find kids that are wayyyyyy too young to be playing the game, I'm all down for an offline/solo thing but online, no. I didn't even get my Xbox until 2008 (i was 16) and played a little bit of Gears of War, Halo, but everything else was T, never M. I'm 18, turning 19 now and I can finally buy my own M games and it's like a sense of passage, that I waited and can now play it for how it was intended.

The 16/17 year olds aren't that bad, some are but not all. It's really the 14U kids that somehow made it online that piss me off

Even though I'm only 15, (which I don't sound like at all) I completely agree with you. I hate the fact that I have to mute other players just on the fact that their voice is really high pitched. It's when they lose the game for us that makes me mad. I remember when I was 11 and playing Halo 3 online, I sucked balls at it but I still tried as hard as I could to win (which we never did). Most lobbies I get into nowadays have kids that are asking how to play the game, spinning in circles, and doing nothing to benefit the team. The other thing I hate is when they send you messages trying to recruit you for some clan or trying to 1v1 you, it's also annoying when they say "Why did you kill me!/Stop killing me!" and when you don't they threaten to get you banned or hack your account or some other crap. In my opinion if you're going to play, BE MATURE!

It's also woth noting that MS are very hot on people impersonating their staff on Xbox Live. If that kid had reported him and his friends, they'd be looking at console bans.
