Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 Untetherer
So, if you have a jailbroken Device running 5.1.1, you probably saw a notification on Cydia under the changes tab. This is Rocky Racoon, released by the Chronic-Dev Team.

What it does:
Rocky Racoon allows users who have a tethered jailbroken iOS device on iOS 5.1.1 to convert it into untethered jailbreak.

This means if you downloaded the tethered 5.1.1 jailbreak, you can make it untethered. Pretty simple.


How to do it:
    Open Cydia.
    Click the changes tab, or search for "Rocky Racoon" (without quotes)
    Click on "Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 Untetherer"
    Click the install button.
    Click the confirm button.
    After installed, reboot your device.


If your device boots up without needing a tethered boot, you have successfully untethered your device :2thumbsup:


Is it safe to download if I am already untethered?
Yes! It is completely safe to download if you are already running an untethered 5.1.1 iOS device!
