BF3- Realistic first person shooter that takes place during operation desert storm (persian-gulf war in 1991)
Mw3- Arcade (not supposed to be realistic!) first person shooter that is "supposed" to resemble what WWIII will be like, but probably not.
Most people think that Bf3 is a bad game is because on console there is only 24 max playes, so the game is much slower pased. On PC there can be up to 64 players (depending on your bandwith) where 64 players and much better graphics makes bf3 for pc superior. Except bf3 requirs quite a hefty PC to run it smoothly.
Both games have their ups&downs. CoD has more downs, but most CoD players would disagree.
Mw3 is built for a gun-gun / killstreak-gun fights.
Bf3 is built for Gun-gun / Infantry-Infantry fights
If you are good at gunfights, go for mw3, but if you like to be in vehicles such as jets, tanks, helicopters go bf3.

I enjoy them both, but BF3 doesn't enrage me. Just to let you know I'm a good "COD" player, but it still has enraged me. *Cough* *Cough* akimbo FMG9's with Assassin... 8987(( 8987(( 8987((

In my opinion Bf3 is a better game. Mainly because it's so chill. Call of Duty is so intense,serious, and competitive. I guess it's all based on your gaming preferences.

BF3 No doubht
Its alot less stressfull and players are more mature (when they mess around its funny and there not all 12 year olds screaming over the mic and boosting)
+ The game mechanic is more polished and the games are more tactical. on mw3 any 12 year old kid can spray with a ump45 and go 20-5

I would say Modern warfare 3 is a lot better because the game runs so much smoother than BF3

Anyways, I feel MW3 is. It has a better feel in my opinion. There is really nothing else I can say.
