Blunt-Blowin wrote i play 360, i want a computer good enough to use sony vegas pro on and still be portable . i dont want a desktop being that i need something smaller that i can have handy whenever i need to. i just need a computer with a decent graphics/video card

One word: Ultrabook.

Slim, extremely portable, perfect 13'' size, powerful CPU + blazing fast SSD, looks a lot cleaner IMO, cost less, and have just as good battery lives as Apple crapbooks.

Laptop =/= gaming. It simply does not work - why? Any serious gaming laptop will have power hungry components such as a high end i7m and a GTX 580 for example so you'll get terrible battery life no matter what and making the portability close to useless, usually really thick since the manufacturer needs spacing for ventilation and beefier fans, a lot of them are 17'' ( portability issues again ), and are really overpriced considering performance.

It's just so beautiful.

Plus, you don't have iOS and you have the ability to actually download the majority of half descent editing suites out there.

1080P IPS panels (!!!!) with great specs for an ultraslim on both models.

Man...I'm contemplating on whether or not I should get one. It'll probably be an impulse purchase...but they are just awesome. On a side note, Samsung released a new Ultrabook with a nice matte panel without a huge bezel.

Mmmmmmmm... I'm thinking about the same but questioning it for the same reason you are. I REALLY, REALLY want this sexy thang here, the X230T:

But I want this too:

And I just can't get over how insanely irrational it is.
