I hate it when someone makes a topic that breaks the rules, and members post on it saying things like..

Against the rules, read them!


Just report the topic, staff will take care of it.

Posting on that topic brings attention to it, and that's not good.

I know many will disagree and say that they are just informing the offender, and my response to that is no you don't have to.

They will be informed when they receive a warning or suspension, they do not need to be told on the thread.

and I just looked at the report button and there is one named "other"

Other can be anything. Why exactly is that even needed?

Once you click it a box pops up so you can type the report. It's so you can be specific or report things not on the list like inappropriate language.

I do report people but once in a blue moon I will also tell them. I usually do it if they ask or if they think they are getting away with something. Most of the time I do just report and move on though.

They are just letting you know it is against the Rules.

If you constantly get those kind of Replies then you did NOT read the Rules and should go read them to find out what you did or are doing wrong.

well, i dont do this but i understand why people do it. if somebody with 10 posts does something against the rules and the staff dont catch it, why not help him out instead of getting him a warning. when somebody has over 500, they should be reported.

its also against the rules to mini-mod so they get a warning
