Really great topic guys this will help those inexperienced people.
I just installed my free version of windows 7 ultimate two days before this was posted with
those exact same links. So they are providing great info. as always.
Good luck with the topic which I see being stickied.

Finally! A topic like this has been created, I hope this topic gets sticky. Also Maybe you should outline reasons why people shouldn't buy Alienware PC's for gaming or that laptops aren't exactly great for gaming unless you spend thousands of dollars and other things like that!

r00t_b33r just started this topic and this is only the beginning of it. Eventually we'll add the pros and cons of building it yourself and compare it to a pre-built system like an Alienware PC for example. Over time this topic will build up and be better than ever!

Overclocker wroteNo it's not I did it. It's also 650 not $650.Celt wrote ****PC Build Request Form****
Budget: 650
Peripherals & Monitor: I want a Razer mouse and a 22" Led monitor with a respectable brand name
Games: cod 4 , mw2 , Minecraft and Battlefield.
Software: Cinema c4d , aef , Dreamwaver , Photoshop ,
Aesthetics: M59 GAMING case

Details:
First, It's impossible to get a gaming pc that will do everything that you want + Gaming mouse + Monitor for 650. The case that you chose is really bad, Terrible construction and airflow, barely ok cable management.
With 650 this is the best that you could get:
Standard DVD burner: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

That's good to hear. Hopefully you guys can stop people from buying Alienware PCs or crappy "gaming" PCs from ebay which have a GT520 in them . Another thing you should mention is that having 32GB of RAM won't magically make your PC good for gaming ( God knows where people get this crazy idea.)
It's good to see that you guys have actually bothered to make a post to help out people. Hopefully people will come here when they need help and get advice from people who know their Sh1t unlike half the people who post random shit in the PC support section.
Thanks Generation for all the previous help. You changed my mind and therefore I built the PC instead of just buying it from Cyberpower and I also now find it as an interest. Also thank you r00t_b33r for the amazing Vsonic GR06 recommendation and I think I'll be asking for more headphone advice soon but I'll post that on the headphones post when I'm ready.

I remember you, Generation also switched me from getting a overpriced iBuyPower rig.
