And yeah, don't do hybrid drives. Slow SSDs and questionable HDDs. Only use them in laptops if you're compromised for space and can't have both an SSD and HDD.

where did you get the money for that 0_0??? and i thought hybrid drives had the speed of an SSD and the space of a HDD, was i wrong?

They do, or should, at least. The memory used in hybrid drive SSDs is not anywhere near the quality of the memory you'd find in a separate SSD. The HDD quality is meh as well. Also, it's actually cheaper to get the 128GB 830 and the 1TB F3 separately.
the problem with a ssd is i don't feel like dropping 200 bucks for a 128gb drive though, that's why i think hybrids are better, also that hybrid drive has a 6gbps speed, that's pretty good to me

Haha, where are you seeing a 128GB SSD for $200? I ordered this drive two days ago when it had a $15 off coupon and after a gift card I paid $70! SSDs are becoming so much more practical, and I love it.

6gbps is just the max speed of the SATA connection, the drives won't max it out. New SSDs are coming very close, though, but you won't see the hybrid drive SSD doing anywhere near the speeds of a Samsung 830, Crucial M4, Plextor M3, Corsair Performance Pro, etc. There's a lot more to a drive than sequential reads and writes!

We can do builds as low as $300. At that price, I recommend sticking with a console, though. It also wouldn't come with a monitor or anything, just a tower.
But would games run good i have mouse keyboard and monitor but would games lag or run good

Depends on the game and depends on how much you want to spend. Also on the monitor resolution.

$500 is plenty for CoD! Just read the topic and fill out the request form so I'm not just building with a budget. It helps a lot to know more than just that.

All you'll want to put on it is your installation of Windows, your applications, and games. I don't know how many games you have, but if you have too many, you could just put the ones that you use most often on the SSD. Also I'd try to keep 20GB free because they do in fact slow down when they're near capacity. Have a look at the SSD section I added to the topic, there's a ton of info there.

Yes, but you need to read the first post of this topic and fill out the form. That's how we do things around here, and it works!

$518.91 + $10 worth of MIR.

Nothing spectacular. Arma 2 and BF3 are completely out of the question unless you want to play on the lowest texture settings and resolution. It's a small budget with high expectations that are not realistic.

Also, this goes to everyone, be serious when posting. Read the OP, because if you don't, you will end up disrespecting us and looking like a coward. Great little performer for the $ that does not use a lot of energy. A few years down the road, you'd be able to stick a mid range card in there since the 380w Antec WILL handle it. The Xornet mouse is great for people who both have palm / claw grips from what I found from personal hands on experience with it.

I would be willing to pay a little bit extra to play DayZ cause that game is alot of fun.
