****PC Build Request Form****

Budget & Currency: 900 USD

Peripherals & Monitor: I would like a Razer Keyboard and a monitor

Games: Diabllo 3, MW3, MW2

Software: Photoshop, Sony Vegas, C4D

Aesthetics:Bitfenix Colossus Venom case

Rebates/Promos:

Details:

Cheapest Razer keyboard ( glossy membrane - overpriced ) - $44.99
BitFenix Colossus chassis - $149.99
ASUS VH238H monitor - $179.99

All together it'd be around $370 and that's just for 3 parts leaving you with around $530 for the core components which is not a lot considering what you really can get with a $900 budget if you spend less on peripherals and a chassis and more on parts that'll actually give a performance boost. Something has to give here.

What would wou recomend you clearly know more than i do. Cheap but good case same for keyboard and you can leave the monitor out if the budget.

I Just want somethig good for performance i really dont care what it looks like, the monitor would be used fr playing xbox also so it can be left out of the budget. t

$524.92 + $20 worth of MIR.

Here's the catch, right now with this current configuration you have a strong CPU ( that being the i3-2100 ) and a nice mid range video card but lack upgrade options since I sort of cut corners when it came to deciding the MOBO. So, what I'm saying is that if you don't want the best performance right now but want a better upgrade path ( I.E dual card SLI/CF support - Ivy Bridge ) you can switch the CPU over to an [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and get a more future proofed board like an [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] for example. Whatever route you go is totally up to you. Either way, both solid configurations that'll serve you both well.

Why? If the color somehow turns you off, I'd like to assure you there is no side window on the case so no one would ever see it. There is nothing better in the price range that is half decent.

There is a 500w PCP unit ( OCZ owned ) but it's more expensive when you don't include the rebate.

You don't have a spare power cord laying around somewhere? Huh. It'd cost you about $5 for one so it may not be a bad move to just go for the PCP unit, especially considering that's it's semi modular. It's your choice in the end.
