It's OK and we recommend it pretty often, but this one's better: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Usually we recommend it someone really wants LEDs and/or a window, but the One is infinitely more classy and has nice features for newer builders. And vets, too, those bumped-out side panels are a godsend.
|I meant to post this one, the plus version. with thermometer, fan control, side panel, and 2 usb 3.0 and 2.0

The Zalman Z9 plus is a solid case. You can nit pick at everything but at the end of the day that's not going to get you anywhere. It has a lot of higher end features for a $60 price tag. Go for it.

I'm just wondering guys, I was looking at the build you all gave me awhile ago, and was looking at an i5 2500k.
I am thinking of switching from an i5 2500k to an i7 2600k. Main reason being because its a beast in terms of performance and will really help out when it comes to editing. Is this a good cpu and is it worth the extra bit of money?
Can I ask what a good cooler for it is? I may overclock just for a little bit of better performance, I was looking at the Corsair H60, but if I upgrade to the i7 2600k, I may not be able to afford it. (I'll know when I get paid friday, and want to have everything ready in my wishlist to order) Is there a cheaper, reliable AIO Closed Loop Watercooler?
Edit: I wanted the i5 3570k, but my board is a z68 and I'm unsure of it it came with an updated bios to support 3rd gen.

Only if the programs use hyperthreading.

THanks, I may just stick with a i5 then. For gaming, could anyone recommend the cheapest graphics card than can run bf3 on high settings? Not ultra, but the next best? Or just a good cheap reliable graphics card that can run everything normally?

A 6870 is able to run BF3 @ high settings at around 50 FPS which is smooth.

Anything more expensive I'd be recommending a 7850 since BF3 likes to eat that vRAM.

The two most-recent posters need to fully complete the form. Every field is there for a reason.
We also recommend custom-built PCs here in addition to laptops, not pre-built desktops.
