Budget & Currency: 700-800

Peripherals & Monitor: Don't need.

Games: Yes. All Categories. (Mainly FPS such as BF3)

Software: No software needed.

Aesthetics: ATX case. Nothing to expensive for budget.

Rebates/Promos: Relying on price of components to slightly decrease at end of year.

Details: Must have: i7 3770K
500GB HDD AT LEAST.
8GB RAM AT LEAST.
Blu-ray WRITER.
NO SSD
A 3770k requirement isn't really what you want here. You'll want a less expensive CPU and a better GPU for the best gaming build. But if you're really set on a 3770k, I can give you a build with that too. And why are you so against SSD's lol?

Dang, beat me to it. You speak the truth.

With the requirement of a Blu-ray writer and 3770k, you'll have to cut corners in departments in places like the PSU, case, and motherboard, which you really don't want to do. A 2500k build would be more appropriate if you're looking for some major CPU power.

He posted here what he meant to put in the software section, so it seems he might be able to use a higher-end CPU, but at this budget it might not be worth it.

Sorry again. I'm multi-tasking and didn't specify my currency (GBP) and I will also use my PC for:

C4D
PS
Sony Vegas.

I'm really stuck on the 2500K and the 3770K. I know that I will not need the 3770K for gaming. I don't really want to upgrade my CPU for at least a few years.

I don't really need help building a new computer, but I am in the market for a new video card(preferably EVGA or Nvidia) for around 250 USD. Thanks in advance.

The 448 560ti falls nicely into your budget, and performs only a few frames per second under the 570 in most games. Overclock it a bit, and you can match it. If you look out for deals it may pop up at a better price. But for $10 go for the 570.

And clarky123 do you have any plans to overclock?

Thanks r00t_b33r. I'll probably go with the GTX 570 if I can

Make sure you consider the 448 560 Ti iThorHD recommended, it slipped my mind.

Seen as how I'm a noob I don't know how to but considering it. Don't fully understand what it actually does. Also I don't think I would do it and would probably pay someone to, although if it ain't that hard I will give it a crack but don't want to break anything.

And clarky123 do you have any plans to overclock?
