I need help finding a processor for a friend, hes on a tight budget and wants to be able to run games like Saints Row 3.

I dont need an entire build, but hes currently on an AMD Athlon II x2 215 (AM3 socket)

I dont know anything about AMD at all, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a fairly good processor that supports this socket? Hes on a strict budget, maybe aroudn 200 or so.

Thanks.

Under budget because spending more for you would not be worth it. I'm only recommending such high-end parts because they'll last a long time so you won't have to upgrade for years. There's no sense in dual-graphics card setups for 1080p or 1200p because the 7970 can max every game above 60 FPS and is the highest-end single card I can recommend right now. You also get compatibility issues with multiple-card setups, so I generally avoid them.

Use this when you install Windows on the SSD: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

That's a horrible and extremely unbalanced build and needs to be re done.
