Dang, very nice sum. Now, Lenovo's new line of laptops is coming out TOMORROW, and they're known for offering brand new laptops at insanely discounted prices and their previous line prices will go down. This time around, you might be better off buying from the previous line since this refresh is not a huge one. The last one, though, was truly massive. There are already some sweet deals here:

I'm seeing X220s with IPS panels, good i5s, and mSATA SSDs for well under $800. If you want something very portable that packs a punch, the X220 and newer X230 are what you want. In my opinion, the X230 is THE best laptop money can buy, all around. I'll be watching for deals this week, stay in touch with me.
