I am new to building comps and i am wondering if this is a pretty goodbuild and will it run most games on highest settings, also do i have a good mobo for a ivy bridge?

The build is good and it'll run new games on desirable settings. A 560 ti and i3-2100 is a strong combo.

Change the case to the HAF XM or NZXT Phantom or Switch 810.
HAF X sucks.
Change Power supply to TX650 at least.
Change motherboard to: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Change RAM to 8GB Corsair Vengeance black, you don't need 16GB. With those 50$ that you saved with the ram, get the GTX 670 and delete the 7870 from your cart.

Note: DO NOT GET THE HAF X. NEVER!

There's nothing wrong with the HAF-X. It's one of the best cases you can get. Extreme airflow, great cable management, true quad core SLI/CF compatibility, etc.
