Colour scheme wise, it is quite dull. Try giving your website design some like, maybe in the header area. I like the 'Work' and 'Social' section. The website background can be improved from the existing boring white; maybe get a pattern going or have a gradient. I do not know whether you have this or not because i cannot quite see the closer details; add a outer glow to the main module box like TTG's one.

You did mention that this design is not fully complete but i am anxious to see the final design so maybe update this topic when done.
