I think Halo 4 would have Halo 3 controls so Halo 3. Reach has different controls and I don't think they'll use Reach controls but I could be wrong.

Just play both, I suggest playing on Bumper Jumper though, since it may be a bit better.. but 343i is changing the control layout as you could see by this photo below -

That's for Default controls though, not Bumper Jumper.

I heard Bumper Jumper's controls were also different.. so I don't know, play all the Halo's!

Halo Reach. Its the most recent Halo game that's out so Halo 4 will probably be most similar to it than the others.
