Provide me with the following:
-What Computer you have
-What Year/Model it is
There are a lot of things that could stop the computer from starting up. For instance a software failure/glitch, a hardware malfunction or even viruses/malware. Have you tried booting the computer in safe mode? In order to enter safe mode turn the computer fully off. Hit the power button to turn the computer back on and continuously hit "F8". This should pull up a screen in which you have various options and choices to choose that can fix your computer.
The option you want to select is safe mode with networking. If the computer boots up in safe mode with networking. Immediately Pm me and I will further help you fix this issue. If the computer does not start then run a fix. Do not do or enter system restore. If you have any virus, that's the first place where it will go. So restoring your computer Via system restore is off-limits until I can locate this issue
Have a great day and I hope I can help fix this issue you are having

ok i have a Dell Inspiron 1525 w/ Windows 7.
and it didn't get stuck, it takes quote on quote FOREVER to start.
like honestly 15 - 20 minutes.
and when it finally came on, i noticed my AV was turned off and i couldn't turn it back on...
and my PC is going Mindblowingly slow...
