I got my Lite-on drive flashed by a family friend and the person who flashed it doesn't have the key and other files, could I extract them from my drive if I wanted to update my firmware?

Ye you can still take the key of the drive wen it's flashed and if that friend knows Wat he is doing he should always make backup of ur keys
