NWA wrote I bet 9/10 members who posted again them don't have them.

Well I have them, HD solo to be exact, and I LOVE them! Amazing base, amazing sound, I can't think of a negative on them.

Buy them, you will not regret it. As long as you know how to take care of your stuff ;)

If you think Beats are good, you'll soil your pants when you hear real headphones. You say people have no reference, when you yourself have no reference.

Hey, This is a post where we can give him ideas. Not go around trolling everybody that has their opinion. Keep it to yourself. Your acting like a dbag.

Anyways, I have had Solo Black HD and I have also have had Studio Lambo. They are ok. I would rather want Bose because those are pretty good. I would get which ever you prefer if you want to just sit and listen to music, then other headphones. If you want to get into mixing music, then Beats. Hope this helped.

Oh, a D-bag you say? For disagreeing and offering a better alternative? Posts like this put me in a snarky mood. Incoming sarcasm and sass, be prepared.

Under no circumstances should you buy Beats, and disagreeing with you does not make me a D-bag. Calling other people D-bags in this situation makes you a D-bag.

Buy beats if you are rich and care about fashion. If you actually care about sound quality then I suggest you look elsewhere because coming from experience, when I had beats when they came out I thought they were good but man was I wrong. After years of searching and trading I have settled with the Crossfade LP2's and my personal choice. I use it for both music and gaming. Comparing them with beats is like comparing a mustang with a lambo.

To an extent, headphones are a matter of preference, yes. But in the case of Beats, there are cheaper headphones that are in every way superior for a fraction of the price. There's simply no justifying a preference for Beats over other headphones. Other headphones even look better, if that's what you're getting at. If it was a matter of opinion, I wouldn't assert my point so bluntly. I explained it all in the OP of my headphone topic.

The two aren't comparable, they're priced differently and have a different design. The Studios also sound like $50 headphones.

It generally applies to what you might be using them for. Me, i'm a music producer, I have the Pro's. I started out with the Solo's and loved 'em. The bass is amazing. But then again, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, obviously.

If you use the Pros or any Beats for production... You're doing it wrong. This isn't even a knock on Beats, it's just a knock on your headphone choice, the fact that they suck for the price is another matter entirely. For production or monitoring, you DO NOT want a headphone with colored sound. All Beats are "colored," and put too much emphasis on different parts of the sound spectrum. If this is what you're perceiving to be true to the track, the levels of the track will be off. You need a neutral headphone that provides a sound that is true to the track, not overblowing bass like Beats do. See my headphone guide in my sticky, I labeled all good production headphones with an equal sign (=).
