when i turn on my jtag all that shows up is like black static. it worked 5 mins ago and no problems with it other than the fact that it froze once so i had to turn it off. any ideas to get it back to normal?

Sounds to me like your GPU is going, which means you are probably going to experience RRoD in the near future. To fix the freezing you'll need a reflow of the GPU.
