Before uneducated 7 year olds flood this thread and post one word "JTAG", I need to state that JTAGs can't go online anymore than a few hours. So how can a lobby be hosted without a jtag? Only answer if you can host a lobby, please.

Infections. And jtags cannot go online at all anymore for more than like 0.001 seconds before being denied access and banned. Well all except for the elite few who spoofed the challenges in xam.xex.

You are right, but someone would have to start the infections, so how does that happen?

What do you mean? Before tu7 this was done by modifying the patch_mp.ff file, but now people make .dll files containing the infections. Infections are created by adding, removing or modifying certain DVARS found within the file to give out various different effects or abilities.

To infect yourself for mw2 or cod 4 you can system link your Jtag and your retail xbox with a Ethernet cable and run your ifections on your jtag and it will install the modded dvars to your retail i believe.
