To all of you drummers, how long after you got a drum set was there little marks on all of your drums? I mean from hitting them with the sticks. My brother is bitching about marks on a drum set after a day...

As in marks on the drum heads? If so, who cares? I just never cared about marks on my drum heads. First week, there will be a small circle of marks on each drum head and the more you play, the bigger that circle spreads. This is from my personal experience when I play the drums. If you absolutely hate marks on your drum heads, just buy drum sticks with nylon tips on them. Those tips help prevent marks on your drum heads.
