So I have the 360 Slim, internal wifi,
And I obviously have internet...
I went to Gamestop and told them my situation and they recommended a Wifi Adapter.
How do I make a wifi network on my computer accessible from my xbox?

Don't quite understand what the problem is, so forgive me if I'm wrong with the answer.

By what it looks like, you can't connect to your wifi internet using the internal wifi adapter in your slim. And you're wondering why. First thing that comes to mind here is that you might not have a wireless router. Are you able to connect to your internet using mobile devices, like PSP, iOS/Android devices, laptops, etc.

If you are unable to, then buy an Ethernet cable for your router. Not too familiar with slims, as I have always used arcades, but I'm assuming that it must have an Ethernet port.

If you can connect with other devices, then you may have something wrong with the internal wifi adapter in the slim, which would require an external part.

How it normally goes, I have used a wireless adapter, you plug it into the back of the console, which you go to system and all that. I'm sure you know this. Choose wireless connection and blah, then you enter the password after choosing your internet, test it, and kaboom, you have internet.

You might not have a wireless router though, which would require an Ethernet cable. You'd get a better connection off of that anyway.

PM me if this wasn't the answer you were looking for, I'm sure I could help you.
