How to fix Broken SATA Connector On Xbox 360 MotherboardPosted:

I recieved this console with the sata connect completely torn from the inside, So instead of junking it i decided to do a simple procedure to revive it and bring it back to life.
You will need some soldering experiance this is not a simple job to complete.
Instead of stripping the xbox sata cable i decided to break off the inner wall and solder to the pins.

Pins 1,4,7 can be soldered directly the the left or right GND post. see pictures.

Once you are finished be sure to hot glue your connection to prevent from future damage.
I hope this tutorial helps.
