I'm not a big fan of the colour scheme. Possibly instead of using a dark red/brown you could use a black colour?
Also I would recommend lowering the amount of drop shadow and stroke you've got going around the piece.
Good job nonetheless. I'll happily rate it a 7/10.

I woulda loved another color as well (trying to meet the demands of the client)
And I guess I see where I could lose some drop shadow.
Actually what i did was duplicate the entire piece and applied Gaussian Blur to the bottom layer. Then added a drop shadow.
Maybe I overstepped
