okay first of all if you want to get good in editing i would say to download adobe after effect, you can do alot more professional stuff in there that you cant do in sony vegas, i didnt get to watch the video but i can answer alot of these questions.

How do I make the clip skip like that?: you can split clips by pressing "S" on your key board and you can move clips around like that.

Q2: 0:32

How do I rewind a clip like that?: you can split the part of the clip you want rewinded and right click and reverse clip.

Q3: 0:44

What is that effect called and how can I add that over my video?: you can download editing packs and you can just drag them on your clip and set the mode to screen. (they are called overlays)

How do I focus into one thing as shown?: you can mask out the area you dont want blured and you can just add a blur.

Q5: I will be filming at this field, so is color correction necessary? And if you think so, what balance would you prefer?: I think in any edit a cc is needed, since its not a cod edit or something i would just go with something chill and not too strong.

Q1: How do I darken the image of the clip?: Not to sure on what you are saying but im sure you can just add some contrast and darken it in spots.

Q2: How do I make the clip flash?: I tried to find an example, but couldn't find one. I am not to sure on how to do this in vegas but i know there are many tutorials on how to do this!
