If someone could give me a brief description of what the pros and cons are for jailbreaking, that would be much appreciated thank you. My main concern is, will Apple know that I jailbroke my iPhone, and could my iPhone be hacked if I were to jailbreak it. Thanks

there is no cons but jailbreaking just gives you more freedom of your device like customizing apps and looks just like the android

None really it just voids the warranty if it breaks while jailbroken.
I always end up downloading too much crap while it's jailbroken and get a virus that requires me to restore my phone to fix it.

I Know of a Con , That i think it happens to everyone that jailbroken : Sometimes your Apps randomly exit

It might make your iDevice slower, because that's what happened to my iPod.
