How are you going to say that? Italy had 65% posession. It was shocking that it went to penalties anyways, the point is that Italy tried so much harder than England which caused them to win.

Had England put more pressure on the italian midfield they may have had a better chance. That's the problem with England, they don't put enough pressure on. They are happy to sit and ball watch, letting the opposing team control the game. And when you let a player like pirlo have lots of time on the ball it's inevitable that he will control the midfield.

We where lucky it went to penalties to be honest. Had Italy taken their chances they could have won about 4-0 easily.
