Halo4 youtube channel recently came out with a video showing some maps, weapons, and gameplay of halo 4. It was quite obvious that in one of the scenes the ranking system looks to be very similar or the same as halo reach. I am really upset over this because I think what made halo great in previous years was the ranking system. The feeling that if you won, you would be one step closer to level 50. Or the feeling of if you lose, all your hard work and time would drop a level. Im hoping 343 is able to realize this and puts in a ranking system similar to halo 3's. I think they should keep the reach ranking system. But have what reach really didn't have, a true competitive playlist. All original halo players should know exactly what I mean by this topic.

Now all we can do is pray for it

They've already stated the ranking system is completely unique. Don't just assume by seeing two frames of what the ranks MIGHT look like.

The halo 3 ranking system was not s***. It kind of forced you to get to the work harder to get the max rank and that made the game more enjoyable.

I absolutely loved Halo 3's ranking system. I was disappointed in the fact it wasn't the same in Halo Reach. As he said, it felt good to win a game and level up, and if you lose, you lose a rank and work yourself back up. Halo Reach is more of a.. laid back person's game where whether you lose or not, you could still get some experience and level up either way.

Be a high skill in halo 4 due to it attracting boosting plus derankers I watch the interview they had on g4 last week but that don't mean there not adding there own way of hard ranking system just have to wait and see.for the people saying halo3 ranking system is bad.the only reason you think it's bad is cause you probably are bad halo 3 there for you think the game is bad.

It took more skill in Halo 3 because their were actually ranks, and in Halo Reach you can lose and you lose nothing but the match. I'm just hoping they do have Halo 2/3 Ranking system because it shows who has skill and who doesnt.
