You Choose the path of game
Yep, for the first time in Call Of Duty history the course of the narrative will be in your hands. Both through deliberate choice, and tests of skill, youll decide the outcome of missions (some of which can be failed completely) and the fate of key cast members. The game also features multiple endings, so my playthrough will likely be different from yours. (Mines definitely going to be better.)

New Futuristic Weapons And etc.

With the game mainly set in 2025 theres a raft of new toys to play with. Armed quadrotors can be called in with a touch of a wrist-mounted display, assault sentry drones will wheel up and down like R2-D2 with a bloodlust, and then theres the CLAW. Which stands for Cognitive Land Assault Weapon, but which really means four-legged tank the size of a Volkswagen Polo with a ruddy great cannon on top.

Although there will be missions that flash back to the Cold War 1980s, the majority of levels will take place 13 years from now. China and the USA are embroiled in an all-new chilly conflict, and this one is all about REM. Not in the sense that Whats The Frequency, Kenneth? is going to be blaring out as you mow down hostiles (sadly), rather the new global conflict concerna rare earth minerals.

REM are a real-life resource, supplies of which lay 95% in China. Theyre used in the creation of all kinds of technology from phone batteries to guided missiles. Political tensions regarding these are currently growing, so Treayrch is just adding virtual fuel to the fire.

In future sections youll be playing as David Mason, son of Black Ops protagonist Alex. Youll be pleased to know hes every bit as gruff and shouty as pops, and every bit as handy when it comes to capping freedom-hating evil people. Which is just as well, judging as how explosive and deadly 2025 looks, with unmanned drones smashing into Los Angeles skyscrapers and US army droids turning against their creators.


Theres also going to be other BLOPS characters making their return, with Jason Hudson and Frank Woods also confirmed flashback sections take place in Woods memory and are narrated by the angry man himself.

These flashbacks are included specifically to flesh out an all-new villain, Raul Menendez. His origins and motives will be born in the past so the past missions are there to help you better understand how and why hes making everything go boom Treyarch is aiming to make him a more rounded character than the classic diabolical man with shady foreign accent
