I am trying to mod one of my saves and it keeps saying this save was created on a later version of the game please install any updates needed. I have no idea what to do so please help me!

You are using the savegame.dat correct?
That is fine LMAO his issue is he doesn't have the DLC on PC probably not even the update if his version is a copy that he downloaded... The issue is that he doesn't have the DLC and needs it if his 360 save has DLC in it :/

No im able to do it without the dlc and i have had the same problem. I forget exactly what caused it but it was something to do with the way he actually saved it im pretty sure.

Yeah what happens without the dlc is on the computer it says missing content you play anyway and then when you go back to the xbox you just have to reobtain the quests/ start over depending on where you were.

OH! That is because when he put it back from .ess to .dat he must have put it to .esp, that will cause that error
