Hello everyone, I have begun a new project, called "xUSB". This program will run off of your flashdrive by making a hidden folder that you can store notes and passwords in, but these files are encrypted using AES encryption. I will go into more into detail later, but for now, here are some screenshots:
I will be adding more soon, features including:
-Autorun when you plug your flashdrive in
-A file securer (Pictures and Videos and maybe some other files will only be opened by the program)
-Other various things
-Any reasonable suggestions

The only thing that happens if you get the password wrong is that the decryption turn to gibberish. The picture would be a bit creepy if I was trying to sell it.

That's pretty nice man! Might I ask what programming language did you use? Just curious

No one would pay for this. TrueCrypt is so much better, and more efficient. Also it uses military grade encryptions. This is probably going to use unsalted Base64, or some other easily reversible encryption.
I bet my bank account that the feds can decrypt this in seconds.

He said in the OP that he is using an AES encryption, which isn't the strongest encryption, but it is classified as a medium one. Also TrueCrypt doesn't use military grade encryptions, they use things like RSA and blowfish, it has nothing to do with the encryption really though, it is just all the different parallel possibilities. As it takes so many things into account.

Really, if you want this to be VERY secure, I suggested salting your encryption, and using a keypool.
This is the encryption sub. Salted? Yes.

And @RDCA Thank you for pointing that out. I know it isn't the most powerful encryption, but I wouldn't be selling it for a lot of money, either. I was thinking like $10
