Hey guys i havnt seen a tut on this yet and its pretty easy so i thought i would incase people get stuck
Requirements-
Jtag/RGH
Memory Stick (I use 8gb)
Winrar ( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] )
Step 1- Download a emulator. Download a emulator from [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Step 2- Unzip the emulator file you downloaded and make sure it has a .elf file (usually called xenon.elf, never found a emulator without xenon.elf) If your emulator does not contain xenon.elf it wont work, you can either download another from a different website or use a different emulator.
Step 3- Drag all the files you unzipped to a clean memory stick (make sure its not configured to your xbox). Then go into your emulator folder until you see subfolders usually called saves/cheats/roms ect and drag all of those files onto your memory stick, if it hasnt already got a folder called Roms, create one.
Step 4- Download a game (AKA Rom) Go back to coolrom and download a rom for your selected emulator (Called rom files on the subject bar at top)
Step 5- Im using a N64 emulator, so all my roms end in .z64, im not going to say it is the same for you, anyway once you have downloaded the rom drag the .z64 file (or whatever yours is) to the rom file on your memory stick.
Step 6- Plug memory stick into Jtag/rgh
Step 7- Boot up Xell (eject button on Jtag/RGH, dont worry, you can close it when xell boots) and you will notice it scans your files for xenon.elf and automatically loads it, then once your emulator starts, click on roms and click on your game then your away!
(Note: Some emulators can be run from XEX Menu if it contains a .xex file)
Hope you all have fun guys let me know if you get stuck and il help you out!
